Andy works as an Associate for Tiger Education and Training, a role in which he partners with clients in the education sector to help them achieve their objectives. During his 40-year career in education as a teacher, headteacher, local authority inspector and consultant, Andy has worked tirelessly to improve outcomes for young people nationwide. He is passionate about new educational models and believes in vocational learning as a central feature of the modern educational landscape.

Andy’s experience includes 10 years as Principal of Sutton Centre Community College, Nottinghamshire, where he was noted for developing a consultative, emotionally-literate leadership culture that helped generate substantial and sustained improvements in behaviour and achievement; the College’s successes under Andy’s leadership were documented in Success Against the Odds (Routledge, 1996) and Success Against the Odds: Five Years On (Routledge, 2004). He subsequently worked as an educational consultant for Mouchel where he forged a reputation for delivering on complex, multi-agency projects in the education sector. Andy holds MA in Educational Leadership (Nottingham Trent) and, as a keen runner, can regularly be spotted out jogging on the streets of Nottingham.
